The Lehigh Valley Youth Lacrosse League (LVYLL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and educational environment for young males to learn about the great sport of lacrosse. The LVYLL was founded by 7 members and has grown to 19 participating organizations in Lehigh, Northampton, and Monroe Counties in PA, Warren county in New Jersey.
Countdown to End of the Year Tournament
Objectives & Expected Level Of Play By Division
1st/2nd Grade Division
The 1st/2nd Grade division is dedicated solely to the development of youth players in lacrosse. Teams compete in modified rules that promote skills development, learning fundamental aspects of the game of lacrosse and good sportsmanship.
3rd/4th Grade Vision
The 3rd/4th Grade Division has two sub divisions, A with is competitive and B which is developmental.
5th/6th Grade Divison
The 5th/6th Grade Division has two sub divisions, A with is competitive and B which is developmental.
7th/8th Grade Division
The 7th/8th Grade Division has two sub divisions, A with is competitive and B which is developmental.
End of Season Format
To close out the 2022 season, the LVYLL will be holding an End of Season Tournament for all of its teams. The tournament is a one day format where single elimination brackets are held for the teams in each A division of 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th. All B division teams in 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th and all 1st/2nd grade teams end their season in a round-robin play at the tournament.
All-Star Game
Each year, players from 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th are selected to play in the Annual All-Star Game. This is the final event of each season. The 2022 All-Star Game will be held in Palmer Township.
